Such a beautiful song and I didn't find it here, so there it is..

Theatres Des Vampires - Mater Tenebrarum [Goblin cover]

Album: Pleasure And Pain [2005]

Lyrics:

"But the third sister, who is also the youngest !

Hush ! Whisper whilst we talk of her !

Her kingdom is not large, or else no flesh should live ; but within that kingdom all power is hers.

She droops not ; and her eyes rising so high might be hidden by distance.

She is the defier of God. She is also the mother of lunacies, and the suggestress of suicides.

Deep lie the roots of her power ; but narrow is the nation that she rules.

And her name is Mater Tenebrarum - Our Lady of Darkness."

il n'y a qu'une façon de gouverner le monde et c'est précisément comme nos 3 mères le font depuis toujours : par la respiration , les larmes et la mort pour toujours point barre

Hi! The original is from Keith Emerson's "Inferno" soundtrack, directed by the italian D.Argento. Usually he used Goblin for his movies but not for this..

@dopemandy Keith Emerson is a Progressive Rock musician, known for his band "Emerson, Lake and Palmer". He wrote the music for Dario Argento's Inferno in 1980, this song is the best known from that album. The lyrics were taken from "Levana and our ladies of sorrow" by Thomas De Quincey. You can listen to the original here in youtube, just look for "1980 Keith Emerson on Italian TV : Mater Tenebrurum"
