Damn. You see a lot of classic bands try to milk a dead cow when they try and push their career as far as they can. I mean, it was game over a long time ago for bands like KISS and AC/DC. The Zombies are still running hot though, and they're still cool too. That doesn't happen often.

LOVE IT!!! Hands down the best version of Time of the Season that I've heard. Thanks for sharing!

Such a great tune - still! And Rod Argent (who also penned those other classics 'She's Not There' for the Zombies and 'Hold Your Head Up' for his band Argent) really burns it up here on the Hammond (also does on the Fallon Show clip of this tune). I do wish they'd taken it at a slower pace and with a bit more swing in the feel, like the original. This version feels rushed and a bit rock-y, when it could have more of a relaxed groove and ethereal feel. Still, wonderful to see Rod and Colin (with bassist Jim Rodford from Argent) together again and doing what they love. As Rod said, as much as he liked (and was successful with) recording and producing others, playing live is what he lives for.
