Vocally etc I think they did well but I am in agreement with some others who think that a) just cos you (aka the judges) can't 'see' a fan base doesn't mean there isn't one (especially seeing as though they themselves aren't really all that 'popular' or 'top seller' right now either) and b) 'Couples' don't need to sing a cheesy love song to be good - in fact it's all a bit much in my opinion. I have to be honest though & say that I don't see all that much 'couple' in these two & I am wondering if it was an attempt at some form of perceived favour or gain? They performed at the opposite sides of the stage & waaaay opposite to the point where (especially in the second somehow 'better' song) the harmonies where at times very hard to hear & instead were heard as two sounds that I almost thought were out of time/sync.

does it bother anyone else that these "competitions" pass up great singers simply because they dont think theyll fit into the market place like seriously you are stifling the creation of new styles and genres just because they dont fit the mold doesnt mean they arent great singers
