These were not Shel Talmy sessions, so Jimmy Page was nowhere near these recordings. Plus, The Who were not about to go out-of-house for musicians at this point. Too expensive.

Oops! I meant "Two's Missing." That one had both the Stones covers.

This version is missing the overdubs that were on the original track. "Who's Missing," I believe, has the more complete version. Pete would have played the bass parts here. In promo photos from the time Roger was shown playing bass, but Pete most likely did it on these tracks.
