A great comment from Pete 'As I get older my voice is getting lower, OH NO, I've become Roger Daltrey!"

Roger once said "I'd rather hit the emotion than note" Proves it here. The Doctor who fixed his voice is owed a huge debt by the world's One Million Who Fns.

Remember Pete sang all the demos. Some were not so easy for Roger to sing like this one! Brilliant music though!

Seems like a hard song for anyone to sing. Could be why they didnt play it that often.

When a band grows older and older should change their song's to a lower note...

Roger had a rough voice that night, but the Show Must Go On!! I'm glad to have this version to watch and hear from 1999, so thanks for uploading the song!! Us old Who Fans know this but if You want a real treat, listen to this song on Pete's first solo LP. "Who Came First", Pete had the perfect voice for this type of song! One of my favorite Album Covers, Look at him Standing there on those "eggs" ! in those boots, in his jumpsuit!! Classic Pete!

If i had to pick one favorite song by The Who, Pure and Easy is it. I used to blast this song everynight about 4am when we would return to my house after the bar closed. The first song on the Odds and Sods album.

Originally I wanted this played at my funeral, but I've replaced it with "Tea and Theatre".

I actually think Roger's voice has aged better than those of a lot of old rockers. And he still sings with passion.

What a gorgeous song. It would be a career high for most bands, but it's just an outtake for The Who. Amazing...
