And people label Pete as a bad guitarist. Utter bullshit if you've heard songs other than My Generation and Baba o' Riley.

I've got this in the deluxe vinyl edition from 2003 where you can here them playing 14 tracks from their gig at the Young Vic. The one on the CD version from 1995 has been shortened and so has Water as well. Still, both are great. Especially when Pete does that F C G pattern towards the end. It's quite emotional every time I hear it. Beautiful chords!

The phrase from 4:20 onwards is so iconic, sounds like pure emotion channeled directly through guitar, bass and drums..

John Lennon was wife beater and child abuser. Okay, it has nothing to do with this conversation, but I found that out recently and felt like sharing, just in case you're in the Lennon trance. Look, The Beatles were a wonderful band, but IMO, Harrison was the only true genius of the group. Lennon was preachy, McCartney was cheesy as hell (look at his hideous solo career), and Ringo was...well, Ringo. The four members of The Who were gods. I mean, Queen are more legendary than The Beatles.

Or, in extreme circumstances, a straight man gay. You know...Daltrey and the X chromosome and stuff...I'll take my coat.

the O'rible O'o....these 4 individuals came as one onstage....they created much more than music...they created pure power beyond the beyond....they could blow away any band in concert bar none......
