Is Pete or Roger singing? The bass is also awesome! But please I want to know who's singing.

I love this song. Roger's voice is amazing and it's one of those rare ballads that you don't hear much from the who. LOVE IT

Such a powerful song. Never underrate anything that came out of The Who. Moments reminiscent of "See Me, Feel Me" and "Love, Reign O'er Me." Townshend and The Who are unsurpassed in emotional and sonic power. No amount of loudness or distortion by any band before or since has ever come close.

Neither tommy nor quadrophenia is supirior, they are both fantastic in their own way, and are both time-less albums. Besides, this song is from neither album, why discuss this?

Soaring strings, even more soaring vocals, both lead and background. Possibly Roger's best vocal. Covers everything from loneliness to frustration. I'm not a loser, but did I really win?

@batosai370 I agree with you! Quadrophenia is unmatched. I've never heard another album that comes close. All four band members were at their best without a doubt.

@MrSkipjack1971 Don't get me wrong, I love this song too, it's just that Quad is life-changing (IMO anyway). Sorry if I came off as arrogant, I was having a bad day I think.

@14152189 Have you ever heard Quadrophenia? That comment makes me think you haven't.
