I'm a little surprised he had to throw it to get someone to bring him another guitar! I thought it was pretty obvious he didn't like the one he was playing! It's not like someone was offstage saying "Crap! We need to find another guitar just like that one! You stall Pete and I'll look around!" No, they just grab another from the rack, put the capo on it, and run it out there. Cool video, always liked this song.

@foxden902- What do you think mod was? It was about style, fashion and attitude. Its why they sang "hope I die before I get old" Perhaps they should have sang "hope I die before I wear jogging bottoms and look like a bag of rags"

@foxden902- I think my remarks were less about fashion and more about Pete's appearance as evidence he could be going through the motions ("phoning it in"). So yeah - you totally missed the point of my comments. And if we're going to split hairs, at least initially the Who's music WAS at least in part about "clothes and shaving" - they were a Mod band after all. "I Am The Face"/Zoot Suit" being the obvious examples.
