Moonie!!!!! There was and is no one better than Keith at the drums. Might I say the same about Entwistle and Daltrey. As for Townshend - He is a friggin' musical genius!

This is just a sample of Pete Townshends genius, if you were a teen in 63 you would understand, the way we thought and lived is encapsulated forever in Quadrophenia and pretty much all of Pete's music, and only The Who can really play it. Keith is just Keith in this number, an amazing character and a unique drummer. There will never be the likes of Roger, John, Pete, and Keith again, but the Who will live to eternity.

What a treat this is!Note that Keith is not using a hi-hat symbol. He used one later on but originally his drumming did not include one. His fills and other drumming techniques made up for it...in a grand way. Love the Who. Loved Keith Moon. Thanks for posting.

Seeing them so young and having lived with them in my life of 5 decades gives me pause. They are the greatest Rock band that ever walked the stage! Not an opinion; A bonofide fact!

Sometimes i think, that Moonie is the reason, why The Who is so outstanding immaculate. But Pete, John & Roger are amazing too. Best band ever!!!

Great footage. Look at keith then checkout the Good Morning America interview of Pete and Keith. He's so bloated. It's a shame. Still my favorite drummer.

Just how roger passes the mic like *way* before he needs too and Keith's singing singing and struggling with the headphones and his face expressions and John's outfit and Pete's Guitaring and I just loveeee it

Keith is not only the Most Outrageous Rock Drummer of "All Time" but he is probably the most Outrageous Musician who ever lived. I can't say enough about this human being. God Bless his soul wherever he is.

Pete is such a genius. Could you imagine writing a song like that. Moon did a wonderful job too.
