their will be no one in this world that will ever match Scott voice male or female,i grew up with the walker brothers,his voice sent you to a place that no other singers could match and john was also wonderful,i wish we had them today,they were just a bit older then me back then,but i fell in love with scott just by his voice then and i loved john who we dearly miss ,i don't know what happened to gary,but Scott was the king of the love songs for all of us back in the 60;s which was the best decade of all,but i wish i could hear scott songs again

I always think it is a good idea to read a comment before making a response. My reference to the 'wonderful' Cheryl was her inability to mime. Scott, also, never mastered it.

How can you mention Cheryl Cole in the same breath as Scott Walker? ,She can't even sing,wheras Scott has a magnificent voice,one of the very best.

They never toured back here in the states when Sun came out. Scott refused to return because of the draft issue. So sad....had that not been an issue I have no doubt that they would have been hugely successful at home.

Just got hold of the double CD covering Justin Hayward's acoustic concert in 2005 in Swindon. He does a brilliant version of this terrific Tom Rush song. Wish Justin would release it as a single or perhaps include it on a future CD.
