I SO LOVE THE WAIFS - SAW EM IN OZ YRS AGO THEY ARE THE BEST LIVE ACT EVER. THEY TRULY CAPTURE THE ESSENCE OF OZ AND THE VASTNESS AND RURAL PLACES WHERE THEY GREW UP. THE GUITAR IN THIS SONG IS CATCHY BUT SAD. THE WAY THEY SYMBOLISE NATURE TALKING ABOUT WATER, SUN MOON AND STARS IS BEUATIFUL. I LOVE THE LAS "HEY!" AT THE END OF THE TRACK ITS JUST SO THEM AND THEY SHOULD BE MORE FAMOUS BUT I DON'T THINK THEY GIVE A F AND THEY SHOULD KEEP TOURING. ANYONE CAN TELL ME WHERE THEY R NOW? GOTTA LUV EM!

I am soooooooooooooooooooooo glad someone has uploaded "A Breif History!" onto youtube. I saw the Waifs and bought the CD and fell in love with their folkish/rockish... wel waifish sounds. I love this song although it is sad the rifts are amazing and the vocals are alive and kicking with a backgroubd of nostalgia and sadness. I don't know where this amazing trio is now but they are truly one of a kind as as a Pom now living in Spain I love that she doesn't hid her australyan acint. GO THE WAIFS!
