This should be Black African American National Anthem. This song touches your soul. Can't play it enough.

SOUNDS LIKE WASHINGTON!!!!! Man, when you had nothing to do in the evenings, you just laid across your bed, set the radio to 96.3 WHUR, and let Melvin Lindsay rock you to sleep.....R.I.P. Melvin...The ORIGINATOR and TRAILBLAZER of the Quiet Storm format.

This is such a beautiful and a positive record. I first heard this record on Felix Hernandez' "Rhythm Revue" radio show a few years ago, and fell in love with it ever since. This SHOULD have been a bigger hit in my opinion...it's too good to fall through the cracks As a matter of fact...I just found this 45 yesterday. :) Slayed5000 Thank you for posting a good copy of this record. I enjoy your videos...Nice, clean quality...

This lovely song got so little airplay, which was a shame. My sister's boyfriend, who owned the label, gave me a copy and it became one of my faves at the time.
