The barmaid part of the song...does it have a double meaning once the chorus comes up?Like normally when they say "Fill to me the parting glass, goodnight and joy be with you all.", it is referring to their best wishes to their friends and family at the end of a meeting (or possibly bidding farewell to a dead friend at their funeral).However, when said after the barmaid portion of the song, it almost implies that they're asking their eye-catching bar maiden with whom they're about to seduce in bed to "get wet" by "filling her parting glass" as they wish a goodnight to others, for they'll be conducting the act of procreation and will get none themselves.Maybe I'm being perverted, but if there were a sexual implication to that verse, it'd be awesome.
