This song is really powerful... It actually makes me think of a loved one that's passed away. "I would hold you in my arms, I would take the pain away. Thank you for all you've done, forgive all your mistakes. There's nothin' I wouldn't do to hear your voice again. Sometimes I want to call you, but I know you won't be there... Let's see, last week Kimberley Nicole was voted off and this week India Carney. No one can convince me that The Voice isn't rigged! BBC picks the biggest sob story and promotes that singer. Kim and India are 2 of the best ever on the show. I LOVE India! Her voice is incredible. I have no desire to watch Joshua fake strum his guitar any more! I like Sawyer, however all of his songs sou d the same. It is ridiculous to think that India should have bad to fight to be saved 3 weeks in a row and ultimately lose out. The producers have done a great job this year whittling out the true talent! India, I will follow your career. You are a true star!!!8 years ago

I think it's hard to identify who India is as an artist. Many times she Sounds like Blu Cantrell. Then other times she reminds me of Kimberly Locke. And this performance reminded me of a bad version of Jordin Sparks. She just hasn't hit on anything original yet. Kimberly reminds me of Fantasia sometimes :O But i like her better- so that's why she's more of a hit to me :) Just my thoughts9 years ago

It does seem a little self-inflated, to me at least, that Christina gave one of her contestants one of her songs to sing (and not for the first time). Either way, I liked this. India's voice was smooth and tender in the soft opening sections, as it should have been. However, as the song began to crescendo and India started moving around the stage, it went a little downhill. She missed the pitch a few times, which really threw the performance for me, for had that not been done, this would've been great.
