Well, having been s singer/musician for most of my life, and having spent many years performing in Las Vegas, it's hard to look past Anthony's inate musical abilities. However, as we know, he has passed, due to an issue with Heroin, VERY SAD !! Travis was "on key" the whole way through the song, but obviously was in "over his head" vocally and in regards to "stage presence". Travis, should you ever read this, you DO have a nice voice, but it's more than just that.......Y0U NEED TO SMILE !! Music is one of the very few jobs where it's O.K. to be enjoying yourself. Travis, bro', you looked at times like you were ready for a fist fight !! I'm sure that you were nervous going up against Anthony, in his "style" of music, which is where you should have taken it easy on yourself, relaxed and had FUN !! You actually sing better, as we all do, when we are enjoying what we are singing !!! Your voice is quite good Travis, now just take a "Puppy Upper", and no more "Doggy Downers" !!!!!8 years ago

Had Anthony NOT left the show, the outcome could have been completely different....Travis SHOULD have been brought back to perform against another member of his own team, he may have won the round and remained with his own coach. Blake saved him, but we will never know what would have happened had he been able to keep his initial coach.....I AM SO SAD FOR THE LOSS OF ANTHONY, he was So Talented. The producers of "The Voice" should be doing a better job of fact checking their contestants.8 years ago

This is such a bittersweet battle for me because on one hand, I'm blown away by how amazing they both are, but on the other, I'm reminded what Anthony ended up doing to himself :( RIP Anthony. You'll be missed by all of us8 years ago

I love this battle! I honestly preferred Travis over Anthony. I love Travis' tone, and he definitely must've been nervous over having to go against Anthony, who got the fastest four-chair turn in Voice history. But Travis definitely put up a fight, and I feel like he did more to make this amazing Battle happen. I would've given it to Travis, but Anthony was also amazing.
