autotune bollocks, he didnt need autotune he chose to sound out of tune at times to play up the the legend, i can hear bit of phase on drums and chorus on his vocals like he has on his voice in the studio but its more subtle live , plus craig does have that sorta harmonised vocal sound when he sings , at the time he was caning bongs you can almost hear a raspy sound when he does that thing with falsetto like lee mavers out of the las , forget lal that silly live behavior though on his day he was amazing live , saw him at reading and he sang every note pretty much like he did on the album obviously minus the overdubs

Its just not meant for all singing styles if your gelling itll sound jus a bit off its more for the soft vocals

Its not autotune its jus chorus and reverb added to his voice through the amp fiving it that echoey milky almost drifty feel in the voice i do it all the time

You're right, I changed my mind about that. Crystal Castles use it all the time and they're one of my favourite bands of the moment, I guess I just got used to associating it with Lil Wayne and Britney Spears and what not.

Even if it is autotuned, why is it bad? Many vocalists use effect filters on their voices, and it's not bad as long as you do it for the purpose of giving something extra to the song's atmosphere and not to cover your singing inabilities.

Of course, but that isn't to say that in some very rare occasions, such as this, it actually sounds nice, and not generically ugly like every song on the radio today.
