Far & away the best version of this underrated track. The words are superb 4 the time they were written, just perfect. How many hippy kids realised country life was too slow 4 them? Not that many, but they all wound up back in the big smoke after 'tryin' to be a farmer, cos nuthin' that they planted ever seemed to grow & they miss DC & the city lights, train comin round the bend'. Well MY plants DID grow & I never went back to those city lights but I know the feeling in this song only too well.
