This version is by far the best. I love the omission of bm and slowing things down. the changed around lyrics help, but what makes it great is the lead guitar melody with the hammer-on of the rhythm on the g chord. Killer

Song of the Day

Though +The Velvet Underground didn't issue a studio version of "Sweet Jane" until 1970, they began playing the song live a year earlier. A recording of one of these performances, from The Matrix in San Francisco, closes the final CD of the forthcoming six-disc, deluxe edition of the band's eponymous third album.
