this really takes me back. Rural wisconsin in the early 80's, all they cared about was the double entendre of 'turning japanese', they had no idea how great this band was.

@4daysolderthandirt Hell yeah, always loved his playing and it was a big influence on mine. Tasty and clean, and loved the vapors then and still do.

@broncobra Amen. Saw them live in '80 or '81 and they pointed to me and my friends down front and said "We're the Vapors from and England and to prove it we;'ve brought with us some English rain and mods".

Correct! Thank goodness somebody feels that way about the bassist. They never made a bad song. I wish they would reunite. I am from the states and I would travel for that. Long Live The Vapors!
