Media confusion hides the fact, that we work with the rich man's knife in our back.

I don't have the dress but the music taught me to be a punk in a sense. If it was never within hearing distance to me I would probably be a completely different person today. As for the punk is dead comment, you really just need to start hanging out with traveling kids. Love for the music, as well as the true philosophy are still very much alive

As long as there are people who will be truly punk, punk will never be dead. ( sorry for bad english )

How can punk be dead when there are still so many punk shows going on all the time in my town, and other towns, a lot of new underground punk bands releasing albums, and greats like Rancid still around? You focus too much on what punk is instead of just saying fuck it, having fun, going to punk shows and being yourself, that's what punk is.

@resincoatedlungs yeah, except for the hardcore straightedge kids who actually care about something... I'm 19 and none of my friends seem to care... I do... there's nothing wrong with the Punk philosophy at all, and I haven't given up hope in anarchy either. Little steps toward a big goal.

This same band has lyrics that claim that they understood what punk was when they decided, for themselves, what it meant to them. Try to keep that in mind. You don't have to live your life by lyrics. "Be yourself, to be free"

IVE LOVED OI !!! since i can remember an when i hear people say punk is dead it PISSES me off but having been around for as long as i have i see why the older guys say that. there era came an went an they have to watch these new bratty kids come in and spoil the scene they fought to create its like you write a song that had meaning heart an feeling to your generation an then some lame ass band like my chemichal romance covers it an makes millions off it. PUNX NOT DEAD ! but fuck this new shit

you know i think your right. i wrote that comment a year ago i think i was in denial. I think the rising gas prices and the plummet of the US dollar sadly have an effect on the scene. It becomes more expensive to tour and punks are exactly made of money nor do they make it at gigs. It seems shear dedication, DIY attitude, and old fashioned hard work aren't good enough in our god damn capitalist world. If you don't live for something you will fall for anything
