Only a generation late but I am so pleased to be able to declare that I have discovered the Triffids from one of my home towns in this world Perth. I found them via a program called Earshot on ABC Radio National which featured the wonderful poetry of the late David MacCromb (spelt right ?). An amazing lyricist and reflective genius
