Originally called themselves the "salvation army" and had to change their name if I'm correct.

The Three O'Clock have just announced a pre-Coachella show - they will be playing the Glass House in Pomona on April 6, 2013. Tickets available at the Burger record store.

i love them, but looking at the crowd that coachella promotes too, why would they want the three o'clock there? most of their fans are at least in their mid 30s and up. i thought it was strange enough the roses are headlining one night, even though they dont have a huge following in the states

I didn't mean to sound crass. I'm excited as hell they are playing Coachella, but I am realistic that like all 80's band revivals, it is truly that, and not a true reunion. This band cannot sound anything like it did 30 years ago, especially given Michael's tenor voice dropping...so I can't imagine a reunion would be a good idea. I am more of a purist, I admit, and prefer to remember the band as they were. That said, yeah it's really great they are doing Coachella!

They'll be at the 2013 Coachella Festival, Sunday!

Call it cashing in if you wish, but for many of us, the Three o' Clock is the only act in Coachella's lineup we'd have any interest in. Them reuniting is HUGE for those of us who remember.

If I won the lottery, I'd pay for their entire worldwide tour.

Yes, it's an offer they couldn't refuse! They are not back together, though. Just cashing in for two nights.

Is this the same Three O'Clock that is playing at this years (2013) Coachella Festival? And if so, when did they get back together and are they playing anywhere else, 'cuz I wanna see them, but not there.

I saw the Three O'Clock at Club Minimal in Sacramento in the summer of 1983 and have never forgotten them. Then as now, I think Michael Quercio is a grossly under-appreciated talent, though I see that in this video--like always--he was being just too darned dreamy for his own good.. :)

Everyone has a band they like that nobody has ever heard of. My friend told me about this band. I told him about 20/20
