+HHH100 I agree with your statement in general, but I have to say you cant blame 'liberals' when right-wingers like Ted Nugent make songs with lyrics like this (LOL)"You ran the night that you left meYou put me in my placeI got you in a stranglehold, babyThat night I crushed your face"RE: "The world will never return to such decency ever again thanks to progressive liberals, MTV and Madonna.....Music is forever damaged."

Can't forget Faye...but I do believe Helen was on one of my favorite 3D songs, "Starlight".

Amen! I wish I could live in the 1970's for eternity. It was a blessing to be a child in this decade. I can't emphasize that enough. Pure peace and bliss.

The best girl group ever! Their vocal and stage harmony can not be matched! Just that Supremes had a thing going with the motown people!!

I could never forget Faye! It was the Classic line-up of the Three Degrees I first fell in love with...........Fayette Pinkney, Sheila Ferguson, and Valerie Holiday!!!!!

Yes indeed. And remember Fayette Regina Pinkney was in the original team. She unfortunately for us here on earth passed in '09. But still Helen Scott is equivalent in talent.

proverbs1824

The Three Degrees outshine every female singing group that ever came along! Angels from heaven! And, I am a big Supremes fan! But, vocally........the 3 Degrees even out do the ladies from Detroit!

You are so right. I couldn't agree with you more!

1:18 to 1:28 represented the epitome of the 1970's. That decade was overflowing with happiness and bliss. Many many will agree with me. If you missed it? Well..... I'm sorry for your loss. 70's bliss will never occur again on earth.

That audience had no clue how BLESSED they really were to be in the presence of such fantastic class one - top of the line - performers of three angles of grace.

@SpazChat Yes. THE SUPREMES were more successful.....but, the Three Degrees were better singers....individually and collectively....and, that, ofcourse is my opinion. I love the Supremes....they are my favs. But, still, the Three Degrees shine. Success isn't always determined by hit records. Especially considering the longevity of the 3 Degrees......still together and as popular (if not more) than ever! And, yes, Gordy screwed up the Supremes tight harmonies. But, what's done is done!

proverbs1824

The Three Degrees could and did sing anything and have it come out right. Perfect pitch; perfect harmony! The Degrees are the Cream of the Crop! I don't care what anybody says: The Three Degrees outshine all the girl groups including the Supremes (and I love the Supremes). But, hey, the truth is the truth....A Toast of Love to Helen, Sheila, and Valerie!
