The song 'Dirty ol' man' (written by Kenny Gamble & Leon Huff) was the first single taken from their first album on Philadelphia International records: The Three Degrees (recently released on CD by Big Break Records). The song did very well in Europe and gave the ladies (Fayette Pinkney (R.I.P.), Sheila Ferguson and Valerie Holiday) their first number one hit ever in both The Netherlands and Belgium. Here's a rare piece of video footage from the Johnny Carson Show, recorded in 1973. Since the original audio was of a poor quality, I replaced the live recording with another live recording. Enjoy this edit. No copyright infringement intended.

Graag gedaan Ruud, ben al vanaf mijn veertiende fan, nog lid van de fanclub geweest zelfs. Hoop nog vele mooie clips te zien hier. Jammer dat er nooit een dvd uit is gekomen van de Three Degrees.
