I'm not sure this song is really dissing God or religion. It kind of sounds like he actually wants to go back. "But I still have faith. Wait for me! Wait for me!" It comes across to me that he wants to return to his faith, but it will take time for him. So perhaps he is asking God "Wait for me?" He is also saying "I regret leaving my soul. I forgot that I needed it to feel." I mean just because the band has spoken out against organized religion in the past, does not mean that they're not changing their way of thinking. I think that perhaps they are spiritual, but still not into organized religion.9 years ago
