The Temptations have gone through a multitude of changes over the decades. Here they are as they were in 1983 consisting of Melvin Franklin, Dennis Edwards, Otis Williams, Richard Street and new member Ron Tyson.
They sing and perform their then current single "Love On My Mind Tonight" from the album "Surface Thrills" . It was a Top 20 hit! This is also just before Dennis' second exit from the group.

Believe it or not I had never heard this song before. This is Dennis Edwards at his very best. What an awesome song! The lead is magnificent and the background equally superb. Why Motown never pushed this one is beyond comprehension. This is a classic that was never promoted.10 years ago

This was shot in Atlantic City, NJ at Harrah's I guess in the 1980's. I have this dvd and wish so much that the Tempts would put more of their concerts on dvd at least the older versions. I've been looking for this song and can't find it anywhere in their catalog.11 years ago
