A partir de aquí inician una etapa cercana al dreampop y la psicodelia, todavía con acumulaciones de guitarras, que culmina en el álbum "The Telescopes (aka higher 'n' higher)", para regresar en el año 2002 en su tercera época musica con su disco "Third Wave", cambiando las guitarras por teclados y haciendo ya una especie de postrock minimalista.
