The Harp is in C. The song is in the key of G. He's playing cross harp which when you draw on the C, creates a G note. This is typical blues style harp playing. The main thing in cross harp is you have to phrase your harp playing generally beginning with a draw and ending with a draw.

There was a while some DJ's questioned whether he was talented or just a very good busker and nothing more, those lads aren't saying too much now. Seen him recently, prob the best gig ever been to!

I love Parenthood for turning me onto this song, it reminds mr of another favorite, Lover's Spit by Chris Rubeo.

What's the point in comparing him and Dylan? That's just silly.. Totally different backgrounds, people, and songwriters, but by god are they amazing. No need to compare when you can simply enjoy. It's not a debate it's music. Good music.

The difference between Glen Hansard and Bob Dylan is that Glen can sing... Come on, guys. You're practically insulting Glen.

the 2 people who disliked this are more than likely to be deaf! What a musician he is, so under-rated aswell in the UK

Please, dont argue over this song. Do you think you came here for these petty words? You came here and listened to Glen. Dont compare and dont worry ....the fact that you are here...listening, says enough. Get on an understanding level not an argument. You are here for harmony.

when two artists connect like they do, it really shows on stage.. it makes for a great performance... Johnny Cash and June carter did too, even if it's not your kind of taste... and also Damien Rice and Lisa Hannigan, but unfortunately we'll no longer see them perform together... this is a simply joyful song...
