Every time I see these guys I think they look like some fun people having the time of their lives living the rock and roll dream. They weren't looking to save a rain forest. They just wanted to blow minds with glitter and noise.

the Sweet's combination of hard guitars and bubblegum pop vocals is annoying, but I recognize their influence and creativity :)

This is what live rock and roll is supposed to sound like! Killer vocals, heavy beat, and rockin' guitar riffs. I'm going to sound like an old fogie but too much auto tune/pitch correcting nonsense with today's music. These guys delivered live exactly what they delivered on record - kick ass rock and roll, expertly performed.

Stevies Girl

This was my favourite Sweet track when I was at school and seeing it again here I understand why - absolutely mind blowing performance here. And Steve makes my heart race, even now!!

Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue admitted Motley Crue ripped off the intro rip to this song for Kick Start My Heart.

The first time I saw Mick Tucker play was on Don Kirshner in 74. I was 13 and blown away. Kirshner had the Sweet and Black Oak Arkansas on that night and Tommy Aldridge gave Mick a good run for his money. That was a great show.

I wonder if the film crew recorded the whole show. If they did, then this gig should absolutely be released on DVD!! I know a CD exists yes but how about a DVD? This is pure live, and not any playback like Top of the Pops performances... \m/
