The title of this song is "Run Run Run" it was recorded back in 1964. It was featured on the "Where Did Our Love Go" album which was released the same year.

It was also released as a single Motown "M 1054" and later in 67 also included on the "Greatest Hits" album on the motown label and on the "Baby Love" album on british label called "sounds superb", from which I actually got this version.

Lead is sung by Diane Ross, background vocals by Florence Ballard and Mary Wilson and the instrumentation by the motown studio band The Funk Brothers

Hope you enjoy :)

Black America was well on its way before they took all the jobs, schools and college money.Thank you GOP/neo-liberalism.White America has always been ok with genocide though....- A non-black American with an open mind and a history degree.

My mom had the Where Did Our Love Go lp, and this was my absolute FAVE! Next was Long Gone Lover. Memories..... And I knew all the words. Beautiful song! I think about it and sing it to myself around the house often.

On this day in 1964 {March 8th} "Run, Run, Run" by the Supremes entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart at position #100; the following week it rose to #93 and that would also be its last week on the chart..."Run, Run, Run" was the trio's fifth Top 100 record, but with their next release they'd be off and running, for "Where Did Our Love Go" would peak at #1 and be the first of their twelve #1 records on the Top 100...

This was my favorite jam on the album. Diana was swinging on that lead...and Mary & Flo (smh) were jammin' their butts off on that background. I loved this song. Loved it!!!I guess this was when the girls loved singing...that is...before the green-eyed monster took up residency.

I can't believe this was released as a single. It is way too cluttered sounding IMO. The melody gets lost

I hear a lot of Phil Spector-Brill Building influence on the production of this track!

Actually, any kind of music from back then was better than most music now, in my opinion. The idea you think "black music" is horrible nowadays is a very childish and a closed minded thing to say. There are "horrible white" singers now as well, such as Miley Cyrus. So I don't like that you are making this a race issue when you could have simply just stated that it is more of a time and generation influence.

This is great song and it was a common beat or tempo between 1963 and 64 with songs like the Crystals Da Do Ron Ron, Lesly Gore's He's A Fool, Lou Christie's Mr Tenor Man and many more,,, Diana Ross and the Supremes best female group of the 60's!!

well I'm white too, but we shouldn't split between our colours/races there were some great white artists too back then but look at the charts today, most of the music doesn't have that quality and magic anymore, whether it's white or black... but there are a few more unknown artists who still make music with quality

On this date in 1964 {Mar. 14th} "Run Run Run" entered Billboard's Hot Top 100, eventually it would peak at #93 and stay only 2 weeks in the Top 100... BUT; the Supreme's next five releases would all reached #1; starting with "Where Did Our Love Go", then "Baby Love", "Come See About Me", "Stop! In The Name Of Love", and finally "Back In MY Arms Again"...
