Merel Bregante (the drummer) is a great friend of mine. Love hearing his stories from back in the days. He hung with all the bands I love, Buffalo Springfield, Strawberry Alarm Clock, Jefferson Airplane, etc. This song along with Happy are my favorites from the Sunshine Company.

Ah! The Sunshine Company. Met my hubby in '67. 'Our song' was 'Happy.' I was 19 and he was 20. 4F kept him out of Vietnam. He was out of work, too. Broke. Our honeymoon flat came w/pet roaches. Our colicky baby came in '68. We were out of milk, there WERE baby bottles on the floor, and the sink WAS full of dirty dishes! The rain-er tears-never stopped falling! We grew up, found work, and things got better; but back then-when I sang along-the words to 'Four In The Morning' came from my soul.
