The Four Seasons version is far superior to the Walker Brothers. No comparison. Don't compare any other singer to Frankie Valli.

This sounds like a Frankie Valli solo record, rather than a Four Seasons release; the arrangements are similar to the Walker Brothers' version, but Valli's doesn't have the "Wall of Sound" sound that made the WB's version work. Spector didn't produce it, but someone was paying attention. Valli's is more of a chugger, and the solo background singer just doesn't work as the Seasons would.
