This was a song about a former grade-school teacher of Bjork's, who was English, and went to teach in Iceland. Bjork wrote this song as both an ode, and in the way that a young child was shit-talk innocently about his or her teacher. You can hear this throughout the entirety of the amazingly danceable track, and I found it adorable!!!

Why is this song after years on hiatus is drawing me beck in to listening to it everyday? I guess one reason is watching the video and music. Another the refrain where Bjork sings the title. Well I guess after another two weeks it will slow down. Long live The Sugarcubes.

This song will always have a special significance for me because it was the first song I heard on the radio a few days after 9-11. (In those days, we had a great college radio station here in Lubbock, which I miss dearly.) After hearing nothing but horrible news on the radio and television for days after the awful events of that day, it was great to hear this! As soon as I heard this guy screaming about how he does not like lobster, I had a feeling that we were going to be all right. And this feeling was proven correct as time went on. Remember how people said that 9-11 was going to change us forever and that we would not care about trivial stuff like celebrity gossip any more? That was 13 years ago, and if anything, we are more trivial today than ever. If we weren't, the Kardashians and all those other silly reality shows would not be so popular.

Wonder if Bjork ever wakes up and just thinks to herself, "Damn, I'm weird…"
