An amazing piece of verse, chorus and hook bliss (complete with impeccable vocal harmonies) in an era when such indispensible attributes were in painfully short supply. For my money, this has always been the Steve Miller Band's masterpiece. Love it!!

The recording was produced by Wayne Moss (Barefoot Jerry) The harmonica was Charlie McCoy, BTW. The record went gold.
