Sadly I read Edward Bear works up north in relative isolation having had troubles with contracts all those years ago BECAUSE (!) their music went somewhat religious. What a shame.

That must be a digitally compressed version. I hear it right away.Digital sucks the soul out of the recording. But nice song :)

Another memorable Stampeders' song! And that's only English Canadian music-- there are also many excellent French Canadian songs.

We saw them in concert a few years ago and they were as good as they were back in the 70's! I always loved their music.

The Stampeders Played at Frontenac Secondary High School dances in Kingston Ontario back in the early 1970's during my teen years. Greg Leskiew a former band member of The Guess Who also played at one of my Frontenac Secondary High School dances back in the early 1970's. The band was named Moojajaw.

This person did say 'world', it's much bigger than just Canada. We also had Pierre Trudeau, need I say more? Everyone think's 'their decade' was the best when each had something bad about it. Why can't we just enjoy the time we're in now instead of wishing we were in the past?
