I have to say I am a fan of the Johnny Cash version, and of course The Shadows, but the Shads did this in the 1980s, by which time their Vox amps had been switched for Boogie, and therefore I think the Spotnicks might have the edge in the instrumental stakes, because their sound is more authentic. And the Shadows are my favourite group :-)

@palle612009 I waz 14 then, running and jumping with those tones, and learned how a guitar sholuld sound. Well we where proud of those guys in sweden, by that time. Listen to "Happy Guitar", its the best.
