To be able to write a song like this that is as relevant today as it was 30 plus years ago is just "absofreakinglutely" amazing.I too remember my "ex" when I hear and fondly think of her but I am so blessed to have my present wife of over 20 years, the song makes me appreciate what and who is in my life now!

I'm 59 y/o now, & to this day, this is my 'FAVORITE' love ballad. Oh, there are others, like "Sadie" by them, & other ballads by other groups that are noteworthy. Like Voyage to Atlantis, by the Isley Bros, for instance. But for some reason, THIS particular 1 (Love Don't Love Nobody) brings it HOME, "Old School" 4 me. : - ) R.I.P., Philippe Wynne, The KING of AD LIB in SONG. No one can touch you. And I won't even get into how 'lacking' music is today, compared to the music/song of 'then'.
