Better than the O'Jays? Better than the Four Tops? Better than the Temptations? IMO, I think so and here is the reason why!

I thought this was probably the most beautiful piece of music I had ever heard....it was my number 1 for years. This group were amazing......they were the best on Atlantic records....

Love this raw footage. New song, no studio, you can hear each part and the band. LOVE IT! I don't know how the audience just sat there for long before they really got into it. I'd have been going nuts from jump start. This is real music, real musicianship--joy!

Felipe Wynn was one of the greatest front men in the history of music. Watching and listening to him was soul music but it felt like you were in church.

I remember being 13 yrs old, parents just bought a house in a small Oklahoma town where I grew up my whole life. At 13 I had a transister radio, with the one "ear plug", and there were no FM stations, (what was that?) this was 1973 & the clearest station was W,,,,U,,,,L,,,,S,,,,Chicago! Listening to the Spinners, they had me singing along with every song. I would pretend to be the "lead singer" & would sing all night long. Man, this was class! I can still pull up one of their songs and sing along as if it were yesterday. What a priveldge it was to have grown up listening to such great artists such as the Spinners. "Make a blind man talk about seein again, woo baby, one of kind,,,love affair was", Oh yeah! THE BEST TIMES!

I was 12 years old in 1973 and what I like to observe in these performances from the 1970's is the joy and happiness of the singers when singing their songs it's so refreshing to see smiles on faces.
