From the 1979 series of charity concerts entitled "Concerts For The People Of Kampuchea" is "The Specials" performing a lively rendition of "Monkey Man"... :-)
Tidied up the audio & video as best as I could but sadly there isn't really a decent version of this concert out there on the internet or DVD, shame also that the only Specials track that seems to be left from these concerts is "Monkey Man" (wonder what happened to the rest)... :-/

You know what? There are no bands around like this anymore. This band were sheer class and had everything, great musicians, great songs, live no one could touch them for the energy they projected. That's why they burn't out so quickly, well that and the fact a few of them resented JD for having most of the say on what songs to record. They where happy in the beginning though when he did all the donkey work to get them famous.Related Videos
