The Spare Change Boys playing "Policeman" from the Smithsonian Folkways Recordings, "Classic Old - Time Music". The album was released in 2003, but the song was recorded in 1970. It sounds older than that. This cd is of various artists playing and singing American 'roots' mountain music. Enjoy!

Hello, dear man. I am glad to see you again. I bet you've been around, but haven't commented. I hope all is well with you. I am FINALLY getting over that Listeria from last summer. Guess I should be glad I didn't die from it. It killed more ppl in US than Ebola has. I'm glad you liked the photos. I tried to find accurate photos for the times but still show their spirit & innate dignity. My family is from there & ppl are kind. It;s a different world though, in certain areas. Thank you. This isn't for everyone, but as I get older I enjoy it more! I grew up listening to this (and all sorts of music) & I hated mountain music & bluegrass. I love both now! I tried to find photos that are of the areas back then, without insulting the people. They are kind, caring, will give you any help you need. It is a different lifestyle though. My grandpa & dad, for a time, were miners. We left the area when I was 18 months old, but I still go back to visit. Thanks, again!12 years ago
