If I was going to compare them to anything, it would be At the Drive In, but slightly tighter with better production.

first and foremost; this band and the mars volta are not even comparable. to say a band is similar to another band because they are progressive is nonsensical. all the comparison bands are just bands that have singers with high pitched voice. The Fall of Troy, The Mars Volta and The Sound Of Animals Fighting are not similar in any other way either than the fact their vocals are high pitched. END OF STORY.

@bananab0wls how are they nothing like TMV...? Both bands are HUGELY experimental and progressive. Of course they have different styles of showing that, but thats part of the point to being a prog rock band. The only difference being, TMV has Omar on their side :-P Love both to death though.
