Think outside stereotypes and societal concepts, my friend. Everyone needs something to drive them in this world, for some it's their work, for some it's their money, for some it's family, for others it's pursuit of knowledge. A God is just another passion to live for for some. Yeah some people take things too far, but these guys didn't evangelize when I saw them a bit ago. They're just sharing their passion. I think that's what's important, I'll listen to that even though I'm not christian.

I think the point of that original comment, however crass, was to point out that a lot of christianity does not do what you are advocating for. It forces its followers to be closed-minded and to look at the lifestyles of others as somehow inferior. This is an incredibly difficult position to make art from.
