Awesome band. Sadly unknown to many people. When people hear them for the first time, they're always amazed that they never hit it bigger than they did.

I bought 11 in January 1990, on cassette. It is February 2015, and while the cassette is long gone, I am still listening to this album in its entirety at least once or twice a week. Smithereens records are like fine wine...they get better with age :-) DiNizio is a splendid songwriter.

I'm watching all of their songs again... forgot how much I loved them! Thank you KROQ fm L.A. for sharing them with us :)

I believe DiNizio was the Lennon and McCartney of the 1980's.Any song writer would be rather satisfied with his catalog.

The perfect single: catchy melody; all the hooks in all the right places; all succinctly wrapped up in under three minutes. It's all here in this song!

One of the greatest under-rated band of all time.

Having only recently "discovered" the Smithereens, I've been playing the Top Tracks playlist. I haven't hit a bad song yet. It is a shame that I lived the '80s without knowing about these guys.
