you know i wasn't a fan until i heard disarm, (had no idea about gish at the time either) but literally this is the only band i listened to for the next few years. when adore came out at first i was very disappointed. I kept playing it and playing it. (i was young at the time though and didn't understand pain on this kind of level) but after awhile, and some understanding later, it is VERY intense and puts me in touch with a lot of dark places, (which is good so i can release them)
