I don't know, I think Billy has changed a lot too. I do however still like most of his new stuff. Have you heard Oceania, Gossamer, As Rome Burns, Superchrist, Peace And Love, Mama, Promise Me, No Surrender, 99 Floors, My Love Is Winter, Quasar, Panopticon, Pinwheels ? If not check them out, they're just as good as anything SP did back in the 1990s.
