Here is what the director had to say about it:To me the music of The Slow Readers Club is art of the highest order, grandiose and beautiful. The musics visual accompaniment should occasionally take this challenge on. But how to represent this best? A chateau in the South of France, a model agency and a mountain range later (the Pyrenees) and we have the video for "Days Like These Will Break Your Heart". Maverick Models is an innovative model agency based in Manchester, the agency took on the challenge of creating a gothic influenced heroin chic look and in collaboration with me developed a unique contemporary dance interpretation of the track.Chris Croft (Croftwerk)
