Portland's The Slants are the only all-Asian American dance rock band in the world. The band has toured the world and headlined at festivals such as SXSW, MusicfestNW, Asian Street Heritage Fair, and other events. They've toured overseas for the Department of Defense playing for troops serving in Eastern Europe, inside the walls of a maximum security prison, at anime conventions, inside county libraries, and dive bars.

Saw you guys in concert at Zenkaikon in March. My wife & I loved the music so much we went to the very last of the panels you guys did called "What the Pho?" just to experience more & enjoyed it immensively. Like a few others, we gave you guys money for a cd cause you guys are so good that we didn't want i-tunes to get a percentage.
