I don't understand why everyone keeps thinking I look at Broken Bells as two separate projects (even though they were, but, not my point). I was saying that this sounds more like it was produced under the Broken Bells moniker. I generally didn't enjoy Port of Morrow. Other than September, in my opinion, most of the songs did not have that "Shins" sound from their previous two albums.

That certainly makes sense, considering Broken Bells is James Mercer's other band. And wasn't Danger Mouse somehow involved? That makes up both members of the Broken Bells. Though I'm probably preaching to the choir here. :)
