I also saw Shadows of Knight in 1966. They were on the bill with ? and The Mysterians, The Outsiders, and The McCoys. That show still stays with me to this day.

I saw these guys in Savannah, Georgia in 1966 when this song came out. They were on the same bill as The Seeds and Question Mark and the Mysterians. This is my favorite tune by them. It's one of the earliest examples of "Hard Rock" and ahead of its time. The drummer Tom Shiffour was pretty good and obviously a fan of Keith Moon. Shiffour left the group a short time later and joined the ultra-cool experimental psychedelic rock group named H.P. Lovecraft.
