Grew up in DC and spent a lot of time in the music community, and those who knew Marvin testify that yes he idolized Eck, Sinatra & Nat, he wanted to be a crooner. I believe David Ritz's bio of Marvin (which came out years later) confirm this. His "Fly Me To The Moon" is great as well, and I recommend the Vulnerable disc.

I'm not sure which album this is on. I downloaded this from Limewire back then. I tried to find it in his albums but only found the original version which I don't like as much as this one. He was so great!!

The two albums I know of are "Romantically Yours" and "Vulnerable." There are a few versions of this song that he made as well.
